Canada Day celebration brings families and business community together in Phnom Penh
Members, partners and friends marked Canada Day with live performances, family activities and time to connect, supported by lead sponsor ABA Bank.
CanCham Cambodia's annual Canada Day celebration brought members, families, partners and friends of the Canadian community together in Phnom Penh on 1 July 2026.
The afternoon combined live performances, raffle prizes and family-friendly activities with time for conversation. It gave the Chamber's wider community a setting to meet beyond the usual business seminar or networking programme.
Ambassador Christian DesRoches and Maryse Coutu joined the celebration. Their presence, alongside members and community partners, connected the occasion with the broader relationship between Canadians and Cambodians living and working in the country.
ABA Bank supported the event as lead sponsor, with further contributions from CanCham's sponsors and partners. CanCham thanked them for helping make the gathering possible, and acknowledged the participants who contributed to the afternoon's atmosphere.
The celebration placed community at the centre of the Chamber's calendar. Performances and activities brought people together across ages, while the informal setting allowed established relationships and new conversations to share the same space.
