CanCham Cambodia joins 21-chamber Indo-Pacific business network
A regional agreement connects Cambodia's Canadian business community with 20 other chambers, opening a framework for joint trade initiatives and advocacy.
CanCham Cambodia has joined a new network of 21 Canadian chambers across the Indo-Pacific, widening the regional connections available to Cambodia's Canadian business community. The Chamber signed the agreement establishing the Canadian Chambers of the Indo-Pacific, known as CCIP, on 16 April 2026.
The network brings participating chambers together around shared work on Canada-Asia trade. Its scope includes knowledge exchange, business advocacy and joint initiatives such as trade missions and conferences, giving individual chambers a framework for cooperation beyond their home markets.
Connecting local businesses with regional networks
For CanCham Cambodia, the agreement creates a route to engage with Canadian business communities elsewhere in the region. Members exploring a new market can benefit from connections to people and organisations already working there, while regional exchanges can bring additional commercial perspectives into the Chamber's activities in Cambodia.
The agreement also supports closer engagement with Canadian and regional leaders. By working alongside other chambers, CanCham can contribute Cambodia's business perspective to a wider discussion on trade and investment.
The signing establishes the network and its shared direction. Trade missions, conferences and other member opportunities will take shape through the initiatives developed by the participating chambers.
